How does the border fence actually still stand, given the fact that every inch of it seems to have a tunnel beneath?
Part of the answer, I guess, is that there is a booming business for engineers to make the tunnels structurally sound:
“I would suspect that professional engineers were cooperating with the builders, if not working on site,” said Doug Coleman, special agent in charge of the DEA's Phoenix field office. He said construction might have taken at least a year and cost an estimated $1.5 million to $2 million.So all you engineering majors, maybe the job market doesn't look so bad after all.
