Alabama immigration bill
The Alabama legislature passed a law that goes even further than Arizona. For example, if you act nervously in front of police then that is reasonable suspicion that you are in the country illegally. The ACLU has already announced it will challenge it in court.
The chief sponsor of the bill said that it is a "jobs-creation bill for Americans." That is not true. Instead, it will be a "jobs-creation bill for American lawyers."

I love it when a Republican claims some government action will create jobs? What about the free market? I guess not! Hostility to immigration as an employment policy is right-wing socialism.
