Former Padres becoming Giants
It was bad enough that Bruce Bochy became the Giants manager, but now he has brought Tim Flannery along as a coach. Although he was never a great hitter, he became one of the most popular Padres of all time, and never played for any other team. Next thing you know, Tony Gwynn will become hitting coach.
I guess this is similar to how Red Sox fans feel, when The Boss signs all their players.

Flannery's hiring is excellent news. It means he's no longer going to be playing "broadcaster."
Ever hear him? Man, one of the worst announcers I have ever heard.
Actually, no--has he only done TV? When I can, I listen to radio broadcasts over the internet, but that is almost always Jerry Coleman and/or Ted Leitner.
Now Dusty Baker is rumored as a possible favorite for the Padres. The main thing I've heard about him is that he overworks starters.
