Unless Obama comes out swinging, that may be very true.

Well, even if he does, it completely undercuts Obama's message of dialogue with leaders you don't like. He may feel the need to harden that view in light of the circumstances.

Oh, I meant come out swinging against McCain/Palin. Ever since Denver, Obama has played it safe, and has now been on defensive for two weeks. He's got six weeks to get back to his pre-nomination form!
